Conor Cafferkey | Director

Conor graduated from the ESB-sponsored Electrical Engineer Scholarship Programme and completed his degree in Electrical Engineering at Cork Institute of Technology. During his apprenticeship, he gained hands-on experience in electrical supply and the national grid, which he built on with roles in leading engineering firms across Ireland. Over the years, he has managed some of the country’s largest Solar PV installations, combining technical expertise with a passion for renewable energy. Conor brings this dedication to South East Solar, delivering innovative solutions tailored to each client’s needs.

Bernard Patten | Director

Bernard holds an honours degree in Electrical Services and Energy Management from Dublin Institute of Technology and a National Craft Certificate as an Electrical Tradesman. Bernard has 20 years experience as an Electrical engineering consultant and Electrician combined. This combination of practical experience and electrical engineering design means that you are in safe hands. As South East Solar’s in-house Qualified Certifier for Safe Electric Ireland, Bernard guarantees the highest installation standards for every project.
